Reading Challenges for 2012

For this challenge, I’ve decided on Level 4 (20 books). It being past the halfway mark of 2012, I can list the books I’ve already read from this list unknowingly.

Get Ready, Get Set, Read! Summer Reading Challenge 2012

GOAL: Commit to  completing 8 titles that you have never read before! (10 for a  bonus.)CRITERIA: Choose  any title in the following categories:

1. A book in an  unfamiliar genre [Read outside your comfort zone!] The First Days by Rhiannon Frater

2. A book that is part  of a series: 50 Shades Darker by EL James

3. A book that your  friend or wider society has been raving about! 50 Shades of Grey by EL James

4. A book that ‘could’ [This  category is open to your interpretation*]: Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict by Laurie Viera Rigley (chosen because this book COULD have been sooooo much better!)

7. A banned or contested  book, OR a book that lied to us*: Betrayed by PC and Kristin Cast (found on page 5 of the 2010-2011 banned books list found here. )

8.  A book you judged by  the cover. [For whatever reason, the cover attracted you.] Rapture by Lauren Kate (absolutely love all the covers in the series)

9.  Bonus: A blog turned  book [OR a book turned blockbuster movie]: Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

10. Bonus: Free  choice! The Wedding Cake Girl by Anne Pfeffer
